Board of Directors

Bob is serving in his ninth term on the TVMWD Board of Directors and was fortunate enough to have served as President of the Board, a position he held for 19 years. He has been a resident of Glendora for greater than 65 years, serving four years as a Planning Commissioner and eight years on the Glendora City Council, most notably as Mayor in 1990-91 and 1992-94.  He also has served the community as a Rotarian, Mason and member of the Glendora Chamber of Commerce for over 55 years.

During his time on the Glendora City Council, he was a delegate to the League of California Cities, San Gabriel Valley Association of Cities, Los Angeles County Sanitation District and a board member of Southern California Association of Governments.  He is currently a board member of the San Gabriel Basin WQA, as well as Chino Basin Watermaster, and the San Gabriel Valley Economic Partnership. He is a past president of Foothill Transit, and the Independent Cities Risk Management Authority, and served on the San Gabriel Valley Planning Committee, and as an alternate on the Local Area Formation Commission of Los Angeles (LAFCO) Board.  

Bob is married to his wife Judy, they have been married for 60+ years. They have three children and four grandchildren. He is retired from his Glendora based Insurance Agency which he operated for greater than 51 years with three locations.

What all of this adds up to is he has a lot of experienc in life and is just an "Old Dude" doing what he likes, which is serving the people of the San Gabriel Valley for one hell of a long time providing a product we all need but take for granted that it's always going to be there.
