DIRECTOR, Represents Division V
Jody Roberto was appointed to the board of Three Valleys Municipal Water District in January 2020. She was then elected in 2022 and 2024. Jody was honored to serve as President of the Board from 2022-2025. Jody is currently the President of the Special Districts Association San Gabriel Valley, where she is a founding member of the formation of the new San Gabriel Valley chapter.
Raised in West Covina, Jody attended Mt San Antonio College and Cal Poly Pomona. She graduated from Cal Poly with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration with emphasis in Hotel and Restaurant Management.
Jody and her husband Dave have lived in Diamond Bar for 40 years where they have been active members of the community. They have three grown children and two beautiful grandchildren.
Jody retired from the State of California where she worked as the District Director for Senator Bob Huff. She also served as the water and education policy representative for the Senator. She currently works as a Public Relations consultant for a public charter school.
While working for Senator Huff, Jody became an honorary member of the Walnut Valley Rotary Club. Jody is now very involved with Rotary International, helping to raise money to prevent maternal and infant deaths in Guatemala. The first grant funded by California Rotary Clubs was approved in June 2025.
Jody has dedicated much of her time and energy to the Diamond Bar Community Foundation. Appointed by the Diamond Bar City Council in 2002, she served several years as the President of the board, is the founding co-chair of the DBCF Gala, founding co-organizer of the DBCF golf tournament, founding organizer and chair of the DBCF Beerfest and is The Windmill Magazine Manager.
Additionally, Jody has served on the Board of Director of Boys Republic since 2016. Previously she served as chair of the 55th Assembly District Central Committee and was an Advisory Board member for Pomona Valley Hospital and Pacific Crest Youth Organization.
Jody received the 1997 Pomona Unified School District Community Service Award and 2010 Diamond Bar Outstanding Volunteer Award.
